GNOSIS draws from a unique locked-down long weekend session in May 2020. Those familiar with Hainey's past work will recognize the tones and rumbles of his modified bass guitar rig, while Tracy opts between synth, bowing an electrified Ukelin, and experimenting with vocals. The collection exhibits the duo's initial desire to continuously expand their musical horizons and not settle upon any specific sound or style. Given its context, this is appropriately isolated and affected music that adds a starker shade to the Outliers palette.


TAPE 1 of OUTLIERS TAPES -- a sophomoric release that presents three different albums, each sharing the common thread of having been recorded directly to cassette tape. Selected from over a dozen hours of home taping sessions throughout the highly isolated period of May - Dec 2020, this boxed set collects the duos' most moving works since the sessions that spawned their debut LP, Germinal. Ease back as this 3-hour program drifts seamlessly through a multitude of strange moods and singular ambiences, all captured in Outliers' familiar lo-fi sound, making cassette the ideal sonic format.
