Outliers bring the full scope of their hazy sonic visions into vibrant focus with BRIGHT STORIES. This double-length album cherrypicks the ripest berries Outliers have grown during their hours of home recordings throughout the second half of 2020. Over the course of a journey that is equal parts brave and timid, and wet and wild, the slippery musical narrative of this album demonstrates the duo's intentions to further expand, deepen and tighten their sonic interplay as they continue to evolve.


TAPE 3 of OUTLIERS TAPES -- a sophomoric release that presents three different albums, each sharing the common thread of having been recorded directly to cassette tape. Selected from over a dozen hours of home taping sessions throughout the highly isolated period of May - Dec 2020, this boxed set collects the duos' most moving works since the sessions that spawned their debut LP, Germinal. Ease back as this 3-hour program drifts seamlessly through a multitude of strange moods and singular ambiences, all captured in Outliers' familiar lo-fi sound, making cassette the ideal sonic format.
